Wheelchairs are now allowed on the ice rink at Navy Pier. We had a fantastic time skating at the winterfest on Christmas Eve. Christmas day we picked up our new friend Grace from the nursing home. She spent the day feasting and laughing at our feeble attempts to communicate through her aphasia. Because she didn't want to go back home at the end of the day we have decided that dinner with Grace will become a tradition at least once a month. Grace is now part of our extended family.
